There were 11,559 students enrolled in Jefferson County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 2.3% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

The county's data showed that 12th grade had the biggest classes with 1,086 students, while pre-kindergarten saw the smallest enrollment that year with 662 students.

Countywide, Watertown Unified School District welcomed the most students during the 2023-24 school year.
