Whitewater Times

The LGMS Hope Squad organized a holiday fundraiser event, "Santa's Workshop," on December 14, 2024. The event took place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the LGMS Gym and Cafeteria. It offered an opportunity for parents to enjoy some personal time while their children participated in various festive activities.

During the workshop, students had the chance to create holiday gifts for loved ones, make elf snacks, and engage in numerous holiday-themed activities. The day concluded with lunch and a holiday movie. Each participant received pizza, a juice box, and a cookie for lunch but had the option to bring their own meal if preferred.

The event was open to students enrolled in grades 4K through 5th grade. Registration was limited to 60 children, with a deadline of November 29th. The cost was set at $20 per student and $10 for each additional child from the same family. Payments were accepted by cash or check payable to LGMS and could be submitted at the school office.

This initiative provided parents with extra time during the busy holiday season while offering children an enjoyable day filled with creative activities.
