Tammy Fournier, a resident of Watertown, expressed concerns about a Wisconsin group that supports "sex changes" for minors and features "drag queens" in its election materials.

"Wisconsinites need to steer clear of any candidate that supports children making permanent changes to their bodies." said Fournier, "PAC supporting Harris and Baldwin shows just how uninformed the organization is about the harm caused by affirmative care to children, families, and communities."

"We need leaders that are going to protect our children from harm, not leaders that are going to lead them to it. " said Fournier.

A Wisconsin group that supports “sex changes” for minors and features “drag queens” in its election materials has endorsed Kamala Harris (D) for U.S. President and U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D) for re-election.

“The Biden-Harris Administration has been the most pro-LGBTQ+ administration in history,” says Fair Wisconsin’s website, adding, “We look forward to re-electing Senator Baldwin in November 2024 and continuing to work alongside her in the fight for full LGBTQ+ equality.”

The Fair Wisconsin Political Action Committee (PAC) website says the group “is committed to advancing and achieving equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) Wisconsinites through strategic electoral activity, by working to elect pro-fairness individuals in local, state and federal races in Wisconsin.”

The group supported Gov. Tony Evers’ (D-Wisc.) veto of a Republican-backed bill that sought to ban “sex change” procedures on minors in Wisconsin, issuing a statement applauding the governor’s veto.

Fair Wisconsin has also promoted a “Drag Out the Vote” campaign in the 2022 and 2024 elections, featuring a cross-dressing man, or “drag queen” as part of its election efforts.

The organization has filed federal complaints against several Wisconsin school districts, including the Kettle Moraine, Winneconne, Muskego-Norway, Abbotsford, and Hartford Union High School Districts for not enforcing Bide-Harris Administration guidance to allow boys to participate in girls sports. These complaints were lodged with the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights, reported Wisconsin Public Radio
