At a recent school board meeting, several seniors from DDHS and DD Tech were recognized as nominees for the 2024-2025 U.S. Presidential Scholarships. The event highlighted the students' hard work and achievements.
In Category 3, which focuses on achievement and overcoming challenges, Kylene Yartey from DDHS and Isabel Starin from DD Tech were acknowledged. In Category 4, which emphasizes career and technical education, Grace Johnson from DDHS and Mia Rojas from DD Tech received recognition.
Kylene Yartey also earned special recognition for being selected as a 2025 National Merit Semifinalist. She is among 214 seniors in Wisconsin to receive this honor.
