Riverside Middle School (RMS) has seen an improvement in student performance on the Forward exam following several recent changes. The school introduced new math and English Language Arts (ELA) curriculums aligned with state standards, aiming to enhance student success.

The RMS assessment team focused on creating a conducive schedule and testing environment to help students better demonstrate their knowledge. Additionally, staff members dedicated extra hours to administering tests for students who have historically scored lower on the Forward exam.

These efforts collectively contributed to an increased proficiency rate across all content areas on the exam.
