The Lake Geneva Joint #1 and Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union High School districts have recognized outstanding contributions by announcing the 2025 Teachers and Support Staff of the Year. Honoring both fields, the districts extend congratulations to the awardees.
The educators acknowledged as Teachers of the Year include Jess Noller from Badger High School and Katelyn Leach from Central-Denison Elementary School. Special recognition as Support Teacher of the Year goes to Jake Popanda, associated with Special Services at Badger High School.
Support Staff Awards have been distributed to Kim Donahue from Eastview Elementary School in the Joint #1 district and Nell Norton from Badger High School.
The districts will host a celebratory banquet on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Hawk’s View Golf Club to honor the teachers, support staff, and retiring personnel.
