This spring semester, Emily Wilson, a senior at MBU majoring in Humanities with a minor in Dramatic Productions, is gaining practical experience through her internship with Overshadowed Theatrical Productions in Medinah, Illinois. Emily chose the Humanities major for its internship opportunities and the flexibility it provided to select a minor. Her diverse experiences in theater include working on stage crews, acting, and directing a one-act play. The internship allows her to apply theory in a professional setting.

Reba Hervas, the artistic producer at Overshadowed, recently interviewed Emily in an episode of "From the Wings". During the discussion, she posed questions such as “Why theater?” and “Where would your life be without theater?” Reba also invited Emily to share the positive aspects of her internship experience.
