As the 2023-2024 academic year draws to a close, Lake Geneva Schools Superintendent, Peter C. Wilson, Ph.D., has announced several changes to the leadership team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Wilson expressed his confidence that these changes will continue to propel Lake Geneva Schools forward and support their mission to engage, educate, and empower all students.

Starting July 1, 2024, Mrs. Katherine Stanton will assume the role of Principal at Eastview Elementary School. Currently serving as the Principal of Star Center Elementary School, Stanton's prior roles include Associate Principal of Badger High School and Science Teacher and Co-Chairperson of the Science Department. She will succeed Mr. Grant Strobel who is transitioning to Lake Geneva Middle School as a 6th - 8th Grade Math Interventionist.

At Star Center Elementary School, Mrs. Jenn Chironis will take over as Principal from July 1, 2024. Chironis currently serves as an Associate Principal at Badger High School and brings with her over 14 years of experience in education.

Badger High School welcomes Mrs. Andrea Kaplan as its new Principal effective July 1, 2024. With over 26 years of experience in education, Kaplan currently serves as the Principal at Clarendon Avenue Elementary School in the Mukwonago Area School District.

Kaplan succeeds Ms. Jennifer Straus who announced her retirement in January after a career spanning 15 years at Badger High School and a total of 33 years in public education.

Additionally, an Associate Principal position is open for hiring at Badger High School due to Chironis' transition to Star Center Elementary School.

Wilson thanked everyone for their continued support of Lake Geneva Schools and wished them an enjoyable summer break.
