Winter Wildlife Tracking Family Educational Event

Fam

Walworth County issued the following announcement on Jan 25.

Join the Kettle Moraine Land Trust at Natureland County Park on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, from 11 a.m. to noon, for the first educational event of the winter season.

We’ll be exploring winter tracking, learning about the tracks and signs that animals leave behind in the snow. Who made that paw print? What was the animal doing? What other items might animals leave behind that tell us about what they were doing? This is program is designed for kids ages 6-12, and we do ask that parents stay to provide supervision and assistance; it is not a drop-off program, but rather time for parents or caretakers to join with kids in eco-exploration.

Please register in advance with rachel@kmlandtrust.org.

Natureland County Park is located at W8338 Territorial Rd., Whitewater.
