Cost of college went up for all students at Maranatha Baptist University

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at Maranatha Baptist University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $15,410 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $500 more than the $14,910 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 128 students received grants or scholarships totaling $942,457 and 59 students took out student loans totaling more than $359,294.

Including all undergraduates (1,035), 559 students used grants or scholarships totaling $4.1 million, and 292 students took out $1.7 million in federal student loans.
