Justin Diderrich, Associate Principal | Watertown Unified School District
Justin Diderrich has been appointed as the new Associate Principal at Watertown High School. In a message to the school community, Diderrich expressed his enthusiasm for joining Watertown High School and highlighted his connections to the area.
"I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Associate Principal at Watertown High School. I’m incredibly excited to be joining such a strong and vibrant community and look forward to learning about the traditions and values that make Watertown special."
Diderrich grew up in Oconomowoc and has family ties to Watertown. His wife has worked as an elementary teacher in the district for over five years, which he said has given him a connection to the community.
"My educational journey began at Kenosha Unified School District, where I taught Personal Finance at Reuther Central and Harborside Academy. After a year there, in 2015, I moved to Elkhorn Area High School, where I spent five years teaching World History, U.S. History, Economics, and Human Geography. I also served as the Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach during my time in Elkhorn."
He noted that he moved closer to home during the COVID-19 pandemic by taking a position at Brookfield East High School in the Elmbrook School District. There, Diderrich taught Social Studies along with AVID 10 and AVID 12 courses, and was part of the AVID site team for five years.
"I am honored to be joining the Watertown High School family. Over the coming months, I’m eager to connect with students, staff, and community members. I’m always open to conversation and I am excited to bring a fresh perspective to the school. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or just to say hello—I’d love to hear from you."
