WUSD School Board Member Mike Higgins has resigned from the Board of Education, with his resignation effective June 9, 2025. The vacancy created by his departure will be filled according to Board Policy #8132.
The term for this position is set to expire in April 2026. Qualified electors of the District who wish to fill this temporary vacancy are encouraged to submit a letter of application along with a short resume. Applications should be sent to Deputy Clerk Lynn Linskens via email at linskensl@mywusd.org or delivered to the Educational Service Center located at 111 Dodge Street by Friday, June 27, 2025.
