On Friday, March 7, former East Troy High School standout Bella Atkinson’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Omaha Mavericks.

The game took place at Farris Fields Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 5:15 p.m. at Farris Fields Complex against Central Arkansas Bears.
