Residents of Elkhorn are invited to participate in a public involvement meeting hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to discuss a proposed project. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Administration Offices, located at 311 Seymour Ct., Elkhorn.
The event will follow an open house format, allowing attendees to stop by at any time during the two-hour window. Exhibits related to the project will be on display, and members of the project staff will be available to answer questions and gather feedback from community members.
Those who require interpretation services or accommodations for hearing or visual impairments can make arrangements by contacting the project manager or calling the Wisconsin Telecommunication Relay System (TTY) at 711.
"Public input helps WisDOT deliver projects efficiently. Contact the representative below with questions, comments, and any information you may have - especially regarding historical assets, underground utilities, drainage issues or other environmental concerns," said Douglas Cain, Project Manager.
Questions or comments about the project can be directed to Douglas Cain at (262) 548-5603 or via email at douglas.cain@dot.wi.gov.
