Our middle school quiz bowl team attended the Section 10 Leadership Development Event contest in East Troy on Wednesday. Competing for over two and a half hours against six other teams, the Comets emerged victorious. In the final round, Delavan-Darien defeated Big Foot, securing first place for the first time in school history. This win grants the team a place at the Wisconsin State FFA Convention in June.
"This historic win secures our team a spot at the Wisconsin State FFA Convention in June," a spokesperson stated. The team comprises members Della, Cheyanne, Khloe, and Grace, who are celebrating their success in their first year. "Congrats to our incredible team members Della, Cheyanne, Khloe, and Grace on this amazing achievement! We couldn’t be prouder of your dedication and hard work in your first year!" Despite being new to the competition, they have shown notable commitment and effort.
