Whitewater Times

The Badger High School Performing Arts Department is set to present "Matilda: The Musical" from March 13 to 15, 2025. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. each evening, with an additional matinee at 1:30 p.m. on the final day. The production will feature students from Badger High School along with selected participants from grades four to six.

The musical narrates the story of Matilda Wormwood, a young girl endowed with telekinetic abilities. She uses her intelligence and creativity to confront her neglectful parents and the oppressive headmistress of her school, Miss Trunchbull. Matilda finds comfort in her supportive teacher, Miss Honey, and gains the courage to improve her life.
