Last Friday, Phoenix Middle School's 7th and 8th graders participated in Reality Fair Day with Educators Credit Union. This interactive virtual experience allowed students to explore real-world financial scenarios, including choosing a career, managing an income, handling family expenses, and making budgeting decisions. The school is proud to be only the second middle school to participate in this program.
A representative from the school expressed gratitude: "A huge thank you to Educators Credit Union for partnering with us to provide this eye-opening experience. Helping our students build smart money habits today means a brighter financial future tomorrow."
The event was supported by DDTech student volunteers who contributed their time to ensure its success. The volunteers included Estela Jesberger, Andres Medina Ramirez, Hunter Rendon, Isabel Starin, Cristian Cruz, Ariel Huerta, and Mia Rojas.
