On Tuesday, April 1, the community will vote on a recurring operational referendum question for the Watertown Unified School District. Approval would allow the district to exceed its state-imposed revenue limit by $7 million annually, starting with the 2025-26 school year.
The public is invited to attend presentations hosted by WUSD Superintendent Dr. Jarred Burke to discuss the necessity of the referendum. The first presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, at 10 a.m. at the Watertown Senior & Community Center, located at 514 S. First St. No pre-registration is required.
Further information about the referendum can be found on the district's website: https://www.watertown.k12.wi.us/page/spring-referendum
