The Board of Trustees has announced the establishment of The Office of Graduate Studies and appointed Dr. William Licht as the Dean of Graduate Studies. The decision was made unanimously.
Dr. Licht's responsibilities will include focusing on the sustainability and growth of MBU’s non-seminary graduate programs. He will collaborate with the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) and Deans of the Schools of Business and Education, while reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President for Online and Distance Learning (ODL).
Dr. Licht is well-acquainted with MBU, having retired as its Vice President of Academic Affairs in 2024. His previous roles include chairing the Humanities Department, serving as Dean of the School of Education, and teaching history. His academic credentials include an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University, an MA in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an MS in Educational Administration from Bob Jones University.
