Welcome students, staff, and families to the new school year. The Lake Geneva Schools community is entering the 2024-2025 academic year with renewed energy and focus.

The district is moving into the second year of its Strategic Plan titled "Engage. Educate. Empower." Last year, Badger High School and other schools within Lake Geneva Joint #1 developed improvement plans based on this strategy's goals. Progress was shared at each school board meeting, and updates were provided to staff twice during the year.

For the 2024-2025 school year, administrators have set new objectives that will be introduced to all staff in August 2024. The Strategic Plan is structured around four pillars: Student Growth and Achievement, Community Engagement, Human Resources, and Facilities, Finance, and Operations.

Leadership changes are also underway. Mrs. Katherine Stanton will become Principal of Eastview Elementary School as of July 1, 2024. She previously served as Principal of Star Center Elementary School and has a background in science education.

Mrs. Jenn Chironis will take over as Principal of Star Center Elementary School on July 1, 2024. She brings over 14 years of experience in education to her new role.

Badger High School welcomes Mrs. Andrea Kaplan as its new Principal effective July 1, 2024. With more than 26 years in education, she comes from Clarendon Avenue Elementary School in Mukwonago Area School District.

Mrs. Bridget Hansen has been appointed Associate Principal at Badger High School starting July 9, 2024. She has spent her entire career at Badger High School as an English Teacher and Department Head.

These leadership changes aim to enhance educational opportunities within Lake Geneva Schools.
