On Friday, November 15, 2024, the Northern Illinois University (NIU) Jazz Orchestra is scheduled to perform at Badger High School. The concert will start at 7 p.m. and will feature performances by both the NIU Jazz Orchestra and the Badger High School Jazz Ensemble.
This event marks the conclusion of a day-long workshop involving NIU band members and high school students. It has become a long-standing tradition for jazz students at Badger High School. Zach Ott directs the school's jazz program.
The concert is open to the public and free of charge.
