FOIA Request to Town Of Delavan Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Whitewater Times have submitted a request for records under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq. The request specifically seeks a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024.
As a media organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. We believe that given our role in disseminating information, we are eligible for a fee waiver as a media professional.
