There were 1,728 students enrolled in Jefferson School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.5% of them were boys, and 0% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 75% of the Jefferson School District total enrollment.

Jefferson School District covers five schools within Jefferson County, with its main office in Jefferson.

Among the five schools in the Jefferson School District, Jefferson High School recorded the highest enrollment of 607 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.
