City of Whitewater recently issued the following announcement.
At the December 21st common council meeting, the Council will be considering and voting on a resolution that would approve the City of Whitewater to contribute $3,000,000 in the 2024 budget toward the renovation and expansion of the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library.
The contribution from the City of Whitewater's 2024 budget would be contingent on the Library Board providing and raising any excess funds. The total estimated cost of the renovation and expansion is $5,057,244.
