Village of Sharon issued the following announcement on Sept 28.
The Village of Sharon will hold a public informatonal hearing for the proposed upgrades to the Wastewater Treatment Facility and the Wastewater Collection System on September 29, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., local time, at the Sharon Village Hall. The proposed upgrades were identified in Facility Plan Report dated March 2020, which has been submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for review and approval. The Facility Plan included a cost effective analysis, a schedule for implementing upgrades and the need to secure financial assistance to complete the work. The Village has received a funding package from USDA-Rural Development in August 2020 for the upgrades. The Village is requesting public comments concerning th proposed upgrades and proposed sewer use charge rates for the project. The Facility Plan document is available at the Village Hall for review.
