On Saturday, April 5, former Jefferson High School standout Brittney Mengel’s current college team, the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Minnesota Crookston Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Minnesota Crookston Softball Field against Winona State Warriors.
