On Friday, April 4, former Cambridge High School standout Saveea Freeland’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drake Bulldogs.

The game took place at Buel Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Buel Field against Drake Bulldogs.
