Cambridge High School standout Saveea Freeland’s college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Friday, Feb. 28

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Cambridge High School standout Saveea Freeland’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.

The game took place at Blue Raider Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Blue Raiders this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Blue Raider Softball Field against Ball State Cardinals.
