Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 21.
March Leadership Feature: Dr. Jennifer Stafford
▪️ What do you do professionally, and what do you love most about your career?
I am a dentist at Bender, Kind, & Stafford Dental, Bite Align, and Wisconsin Tongue-Tie Center in Fort Atkinson. Although I still practice family and general dentistry, I focus most on my practice on treating the specialty areas of TMJ/TMD, facial pain, sleep disordered breathing, and orthodontic issues. I am so blessed to be able to work in a field I absolutely love! I enjoy the process of learning the latest dentistry has to offer, and consider myself a “continuing education junkie.” It is extremely fulfilling for me to be able to integrate what I have learned so I can provide my patients with the best possible care. Dentistry has given me the unique opportunity to get to know my patients on an individual level and care for them and their families over the course of their lives. I look forward to this level of interaction every day, and am grateful for the trust my patients place in me and my care.
▪️ What is your history with the Fort Chamber?
I have been involved with the Fort Area Chamber of Commerce since I moved to Fort Atkinson in 2008. I was a graduate of the 2008/2009 Project LEAD class, and have been a chamber member ever since. I joined the Chamber Ambassador team in 2018. I enjoy the social aspect that comes with this assignment, and love getting to know other professionals in our area. It has been fun to learn about the diverse business environment in Fort Atkinson and promote that to those I meet. I grew up in the Twin Cities, so having the opportunity to live and grow in a smaller close knit community like Fort Atkinson has been a true blessing. I could not think of a better place to raise my family.
▪️What is a fun fact that people might not know about you?
Fun Fact: My husband and I are outdoor enthusiasts and love staying active. We enjoy all Wisconsin has to offer: boating, fishing, hunting, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, four-wheeling, running, biking, swimming, snowboarding, snowshoeing, gardening, etc.
