Garett Harris, Willem Heier, and Elisabeth Huhn have been named the Rotary Club of Watertown, Wisconsin’s outstanding seniors for April 2026, according to an announcement from Watertown High School on Apr. 7.
The recognition highlights the students’ achievements in academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, and community service. Each week in April, the honored seniors attend Rotary Club meetings to celebrate their accomplishments and connect with local leaders.
Harris is a four-year member of Student Council and currently serves as Senior Class President. He also participates in HOSA (Future Health Professionals), Varsity Boys Soccer, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Athletic Leadership Club. Harris works at Watertown Moravian Church and plans to study physical therapy at UW-La Crosse with a minor in Spanish.
Heier has participated in Boys Swim Team and Track & Field for four years. He is a member of National Honor Society and Athletic Leadership Club and has volunteered at Cornerstone of Grace. Heier is employed by Doctors of Physical Therapy and plans to pursue a healthcare degree at UW-Madison.
Huhn has been involved with Girls Swim Team and the WHS Music Department for four years—including Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Wind Symphony—and holds memberships in National Honor Society and National German Honor Society. She volunteers at Camp Phillip, Blue Butterfly program, Vacation Bible School as well as serving as a church musician. Huhn tutors other students within the district and intends to enter Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Pre-Optometry program.
