On Friday, March 13, the UCCS Mountain Lions, featuring former Jefferson High School star Ayianna Johnson, secured a 67-62 victory over the Adams State Grizzlies in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The teams met for the first time in the tournament at Kitty Magee Arena, with tipoff at 7:30 p.m.
The Mountain Lions are scheduled to play again at Kitty Magee Arena on Saturday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m.
