On April 8th & 9th, Delavan-Darien High School Future Business Leader of America – DDHS FBLA Secretary, Tia Bethke, had the pleasure of attending the Wisconsin FBLA State Leadership Competitions (SLC) in Green Bay. Tia Bethke, who tested earlier this year at the Regional Leadership Conference in the Journalism category, earned the opportunity to compete at the state level.

Despite not making it to the National Competition, Tia Bethke achieved a commendable 5th place at the State level competition. This accomplishment highlights her dedication and skills in the field of journalism within the FBLA organization.

The Wisconsin FBLA State Leadership Competitions (SLC) is a significant event that includes various activities such as competitive events, election of state officers, general sessions, workshops, a tour of Lambeau Field, and an awards program. Tia Bethke’s participation and success at this event demonstrate her commitment to excellence and leadership within the FBLA community.

As stated, “Though Tia didn’t qualify for the National Competition, she did earn 5th place at State!” This achievement is a testament to Tia Bethke’s hard work, determination, and talent in the Journalism category at the state level competition.
