The Delavan-Darien School District has announced the return of HERO BOWL, scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025. The event will feature more than a football game between the Comets and the Elks.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with tailgate activities that include bounce houses and games. At 6:45 p.m., a Veterans Recognition Ceremony will take place, with free admission offered to all veterans.
The football game is set to start at 7:00 p.m. Following the game, there will be a fireworks display sponsored by Kunes Auto Group.
Organizers have encouraged community members to attend and support the event. "Let’s pack the stands and show what #CometNation is all about!" stated the announcement.
Sponsors for HERO BOWL 2025 include Bea Cabinetry, Thrivent, Reader Precision Solutions, Prop Shaft Supply, Kunes Family Foundation, and Kunes Auto and RV Group.
