Maranatha Baptist University has announced a new collaboration with Answers in Genesis, an organization known for its Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. This partnership aims to align both institutions' core values and goals. Maranatha Baptist University focuses on instilling a Christian worldview in students, while Answers in Genesis uses apologetics and creative media to defend the Christian faith.
The initiative will provide Maranatha with an expanded platform to present its educational programs. For Answers in Genesis staff and families, it offers new opportunities to access Maranatha's education offerings through the university's Online & Distance Learning division.
Since 2008, Maranatha Online has offered flexible undergraduate and graduate programs that can be completed entirely online. High school students have the option of earning college credits through Dual Enrollment. The campus in Watertown, Wisconsin, remains available for those who prefer attending resident classes.
Dr. Matt Davis, CEO of Maranatha Baptist University, expressed gratitude for AiG’s initiative “to proclaim the authority of the Bible.” He noted that both organizations share a passion for inspiring others to uphold their faith and develop leaders who champion truth.
