On Sunday, March 2, former Lake Mills High School standout Ava Kleinfeldt’s current college team, the St. Thomas Tommies, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at U.S. Bank Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Tommies’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 24 at 4 p.m. at Creighton Sports Complex against Creighton Bluejays.
