There were 11,829 students enrolled in Jefferson County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, 2% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

The county's data showed that 12th grade had the biggest classes with 1,077 students, while kindergarten saw the smallest enrollment that year with 693 students.

Countywide, Watertown Unified School District welcomed the most students during the 2022-23 school year.
