Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs fall 17-2 to Rogers State Hillcats in NCAA Division II baseball, with Ayden Lysaght playing

At 12 p.m. Saturday, March 7, former Elkhorn Area High School standout Ayden Lysaght’s current college team, the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, suffered a 17-2 loss in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Rogers State Hillcats.

The matchup was held at RCB Bank Sports Complex and marked the third meeting between the teams this season. Minnesota Duluth was also defeated by the Hillcats 9-5 in their previous contest on Friday, March 6.

Lysaght pitched 1.2 innings, allowing eight earned runs and issuing five walks.

The Bulldogs’ next game is set for Saturday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. at RCB Bank Sports Complex against Rogers State Hillcats.
