Early in the summer, culverts installed on the WIS 20 project between Carver School Road and Hillburn Mill Road were significantly damaged in an accident. As a result, repairs are scheduled to take place from November 3 to 7, 2025. During this period, WIS 20 will be closed between Carver School Road and Hillburn Mill Road.
According to officials, “The official signed detour posted will be to utilize Interstate 43 and WIS 83 to get around the closure.” The full closure is necessary because of the space needed for dewatering equipment to manage marsh conditions at the site. While repairs are expected to last only two to three days, a full week has been set aside in case of adverse weather or unforeseen issues.
