Ayianna Johnson, a former Jefferson High School star now playing for the UCCS Mountain Lions, is preparing to take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Mountain Lions are seeded No. 4 and will face the No. 5 seed, Adams State Grizzlies, in their opening matchup.
The tournament tips off Friday, March 13, with game time scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
