The Delavan-Darien High School will host its 2025 Fall One Act Plays on November 14 and 15. The event will take place in the school’s auditorium from 7:00 to 8:30 PM each night. Admission is free for students, with a suggested $5 donation for adults.

The evening features five short plays directed by both students and staff. The lineup includes “Bullies Anonymous” by E.M. Bell, directed by Abagail Kiem; “The Happy” by Don Zolidis, directed by Kelly Dennis; “Lady Washington” by Tyler Dwiggens, directed by Nicholas Stark; “Eight Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview” by Ian McWethy, directed by Dominic Gluchman; and “Charming Princes” by Emily C.A. Snyder, directed by Alison Archila.

“Bullies Anonymous” follows four bullies who confront their feelings until an unexpected visitor changes everything. In “The Happy,” a group of weary teachers in a break room discover that not all emotions are what they seem. “Lady Washington” centers on George Washington facing a test when Martha refuses to attend his inauguration. In “Eight Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview,” two admissions counselors deal with a series of eccentric candidates. Finally, “Charming Princes” offers a twist on Cinderella’s story when magic and the prince do not go as planned.

Audience members are encouraged to support the student performers and directors during this one-weekend event.
