During the 2024-25 school year, Walworth County schools had 182 Black students enrolled, marking a 5.7% decrease compared to the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Among the 44 schools in Walworth County, Lincoln Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2024-25 school year, with a total of 22 students.

According to the 2024 NAEP results, Wisconsin showed a wide achievement gap between ethnic groups. On average, white students scored 40 to 50 points higher than Black students in math and reading. Hispanic students also scored lower than white students in both subjects, with an average gap of about 20 points.
