WATERTOWN, Wis., April 23, 2024—Aria Saunders, a highly accomplished individual in the field of Bioengineering, is set to become a key addition to MBU’s faculty starting in Fall 2024. Her role within the Applied Science Department will focus on Physical Science-related coursework, bringing a wealth of academic knowledge and practical experience to the university.

Saunders’ academic background is impressive, as she holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Colorado, where she excelled as a top student. Her previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant and Research Coordinator at the University of Colorado, specializing in Biomechanics. She has also made significant contributions to the field through her published work on hypoglycemia treatments.

With expertise in areas such as Biomechanics and Physiology, Saunders is expected to enhance MBU’s Exercise Science program with her valuable insights and knowledge. Beyond her professional achievements, she also has a strong commitment to ministry, demonstrated through her involvement in the music ministry and youth group at Arvada Baptist Church in Colorado.

Aria Saunders’ educational journey began at Beth Eden Baptist School in Wheatland, Colorado, where she completed her high school education. MBU is thrilled to welcome Aria Saunders to its faculty team, where her diverse background and expertise are sure to make a significant impact.
